How this guide works

Google Sheets documents a HYPERLINK function that keeps a full destination separate from a readable label. A short name is for scanning; the full URL is for reopening the exact page.
When no column matches
If the destination has no matching category column, mark the prompt unresolved instead of inventing a category URL or product page. An unresolved prompt with a checked date is still a useful note. A guessed URL is not.
Why totals stay out
This guide does not state how many items any category holds. A saved note can preserve what you saw on a date; it cannot prove current live coverage. If you need a count, open the live resource and record what the page shows on that date.
Keep status words consistent
Use a small status vocabulary such as Noted, Unresolved prompt, Recheck needed, or Paused. Dropdown validation in a spreadsheet can constrain a cell to a list and warn on invalid values, so status words stay comparable across rows.
When to pause
- The saved URL no longer matches the live page
- The option text was paraphrased or missing
- The observation has no context or date
- The only way to finish is to guess a category count or a live path
